We are the Cancer Association of Zimbabwe (CAZ)

Vision: The Cancer Association of Zimbabwe is committed to raising cancer awareness and improving the quality of life of patients and their families

Mission: Our mission is to collectively reduce the disease burden due to cancer through promotion of action research , education , supportive counseling , advocacy and other evidence based interventions taking a holistic approach

Values: the work of the Cancer Association of Zimbabwe is guided by enshrining the following principles in all we do;

• providing a safe and compassionate place for people diagnosed with a cancer to get the support they need
• being ethical in all our activities ;and
• listening and responding to all our stakeholders to ensure relevant , useful and accurate data , information and services are provided

Functions

• Education to  promote prevention and early detection of cancer
• Functions as a resource center to patients, families and health care professionals
• Providing psychosocial support during diagnosis and treatment
• Providing complementary therapies to cancer patients
• Advocating for cancer patients in terms of access to cancer drugs
• Breast Care and Mastectomy Clinic
